"Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over several districts of Odisha during the next 72 hours," the India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional center in Bhubaneswar predicted Monday, since there isn't a major synoptic system over the area.
For the following three days, these districts were under a Yellow Warning from the IMD center.
In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD mentioned, “Minimum Temperatures observed appreciable rise at one or two places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha and no large change elsewhere over the districts of Odisha. They were markedly above normal at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha, at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, appreciably above normal at many places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha, at one or two places over the districts of Odisha and normal at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.”
