Moviegoers are ecstatic about the recent official confirmation of the highly anticipated Hera Pheri 3 with Priyadarshan directing. The recent hint that Gulshan Grover will be returning to the franchise as Kabira has doubled the excitement among fans, who are already excited to see Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal reprise their iconic roles as Raju, Shyam, and Baburao, respectively. It appears that Priyadarshan is prepared to release the original Hera Pheri characters in the third installment. Actress Tabu recently posted something that sparked rumors that she might be returning to the franchise.

On Monday, Tabu took to her Instagram stories and re-shared Akki's birthday post for Priyadarshan. Surprisingly, she reacted to the discussion about Hera Pheri 3 and wrote, "Of course the cast won’t be complete without me!!!!!! @priyadarshan.official." (sic)

Notably, Tabu played the role of Anuradha Shivshankar Panikar in 2000's Hera Pheri and was also the love interest of Shyam (Suniel). However, in the second instalment, except the iconic trio of Raju, Shyam and Baburao and several other characters were introduced. Bipasha Basu and Rimi Sen played the female lead in Phir Hera Pheri. Well, the recent post by Tabu, hinting at a possible reunion of the OGs, has thrilled everyone.

However, fans need to wait for an official confirmation regarding the cast of Hera Pheri 3.

When will Hera Pheri 3 be released?
Previous reports state that Akshay, Suniel, and Paresh will start Hera Pheri 3's first schedule in December 2025. Priyadarshan intends to complete the film's VFX and post-production edit by June 2025, despite his current commitment to Akshay's Bhoot Bangla. After that, he wants to polish Hera Pheri 3's script before he takes to the stage.
