Watch as Yashasvi Jaiswal defeats Mitchell Starc and opens Indias batting with four boundaries in the first over.

In the opening over of the second innings, Mitchell Starc was smashed for four boundaries by Yashasvi Jaiswal, who got off to a great start for India in Sydney. One of the Border Gavaskar Trophy's main highlights has been their rivalry.

With four boundaries in the opening over against Australia's Mitchell Starc, Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal set the tone for the visitor's second innings in Sydney. One of the most notable aspects of this Border Gavaskar Trophy has been the rivalry between Starc and Jaiswal.

During the first game in Perth, Jaiswal famously made fun of Starc by remarking, "It's coming too slow." In the ensuing Test matches, Starc got the batsman out despite not immediately responding to Jaiswal's remarks. Before being knocked out by Scott Boland, Jaiswal seemed poised to score a significant amount in Sydney after regaining his form in the Melbourne Test.

Interestingly, India was bowled out for 185 in the first innings, but they took a 4-run lead thanks to some outstanding bowling from players like Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Prasidh Krishna.

The batsmen should have a lot of difficulties in the third and fourth innings on the seaming Sydney track, which is different from many others in the past. India will like to have a buffer of at least 50 runs to give them a chance to win the game, especially since skipper Jasprit Bumrah is currently out.
