Tim Cook confirms that Apple Intelligence will visit India in April. What it means for iPhone users is as follows.

Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, has confirmed that the Cupertino-based tech giant will be releasing Apple Intelligence to users in India and a number of other countries in a localized English version. Users of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 15 Pro in India already have access to Apple Intelligence, but they had to go into Settings and switch the default language to English (US). Eligible iPhone users will probably be able to utilize Apple's AI features in iOS 18 without having to modify their default language setting after a new iOS 18 update was released in April.

Speaking during an earnings call on Thursday, Cook said, “In April, we’re bringing Apple Intelligence to more languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and simplified Chinese, as well as localised English to Singapore and India.”
