The twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar are engulfed in dense fog, which interferes with daily life and traffic flow.

On Tuesday morning, extremely thick fog was seen in Bhubaneswar and nearby Cuttack, with visibility reducing to just 30 meters. Additionally, a number of Odisha districts awoke to comparable fog conditions, which had a significant impact on daily activities and transportation.

The current dense fog condition in the districts of Kendrapara, Jajpur, Cuttack, Khordha, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Nabarangpur, Koraput, Kalahandi, and Kandhamal has already prompted the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue a yellow warning on Monday.
According to the weather office, the fog and low visibility will likely prevail until 9 am this morning. Further, almost the entirety of coastal Odisha is predicted to reel under shallow to moderate fog tomorrow with yellow warnings for Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Cuttack, Khordha, Nayagarh, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Angul, Nayagarh, Ganjam, and Gajapati districts.
