A recent study emphasizes the significant advantages of a regular bedtime routine for young children. Children who adhered to regular sleep schedules showed improved behavior and emotional control, particularly when interacting with others or handling stress, according to research. During the first 2.5 years of life, 143 six-year-olds whose mothers received responsive parenting training were monitored in this study.
The goal of responsive parenting is to consistently and warmly attend to a child's physical and emotional needs. Establishing a dependable and cozy sleeping environment is a crucial component of this strategy. As babies grow, simple behaviors like rocking, patting, or gently soothing them can help them feel secure and improve their self-control and resilience.
