On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to travel to Prayagraj for the Mahakumbh Mela in order to take a sacred dip in the Triveni Sangam.
Around 11 a.m., PM Modi is anticipated to arrive in Prayagraj, where he will be welcomed with great fanfare. The Prime Minister is expected to be accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya, and Brajesh Pathak when he visits the Sangam.
PM Modi will take a holy dip at the Sangam, the confluence of three rivers, Ganga Yamuna and Saraswati and will offer prayers to Maa Ganga.
PM Modi's reverence for the Maa Ganga is not new as he has exhibited it on multiple occasions earlier.
On February 5, TV cameras will be rushing to cover the holy bath as the prime minister arrives in the temple town and makes his way to Triveni Sangam.
The Prime Minister had previously inaugurated 167 development projects totaling Rs 5,500 crore during his visit to Prayagraj on December 13, enhancing public amenities, connectivity, and services.
Along with his family, Home Minister Amit Shah participated in the Maha Kumbh celebrations a few days ago and took the faith dip at the Sangam. A multitude of Hindu saints and seers flanked him.
Rajnath Singh, the minister of defense, also dipped in the Sangam for a religious purpose.
Additionally, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar recently traveled to Prayagraj and took a sacred dip. He gave the administration high marks.
