Following the 2017 release of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, there were many rumors that the third installment will be released. SS Rajamouli, however, put an end to the rumors. For those who have been anxiously anticipating Baahubali 3 and the chance to witness Prabhas in his legendary role, there is now excellent news.
With his masterpiece, the Baahubali franchise, South filmmaker SS Rajamouli set a new standard. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Baahubali: The Beginning both were movie office successes, but the sequel made history with its lifetime box office receipts. The films helped other South films become pan-India blockbusters and cut down the linguistic barrier. Additionally, Prabhas, Sathyaraj, Anushka Shetty, and Rana Daggubati became well-known. There were several conjectures that the producers might release the third installment following the 2017 release of the sequel. Rajamouli, however, put an end to the rumors. For those moviegoers who have been anxiously anticipating Baahubali 3, there is now excellent news.
The director of the “Mahismati Kingdom” series, KE Gnanavel Raja, recently announced that Prabhas would return to the franchise and that Baahubali 3 would be produced.
Filmmaker Raja stated that the movie is currently in the planning stages and that the team recently discussed the ideas, according to a report by Desimartini.
The sequel was released in 2017, whilst the first portion was released in 2015. After a long break, the filmmakers are now preparing for the third installment.
Raja added that in order to make sure that the audience can relate to the characters, the crew is taking its time.
He also gave Salaar Part 1 and Kalki 2898 AD as examples. According to him, there would be a lag between the release of Salaar’s sequel and the release of Kalki 2898 AD’s sequel, which will come out after two more movies. He added that Suriya’s Singham series, which worked well, is comparable to this kind of method.
In addition to Rajamouli, screenwriters Vijayendra Prasad and Prabhas had previously stated in 2017 that the Baahubali franchise’s tale ended with the sequel and that the franchise would continue through comic books and television shows.
Well, everyone who was anxiously awaiting Baahubali 3 will be excited by this significant announcement from KE Gnanavel Raja. The idea that Prabhas will return to his legendary role as Baahubali and govern the Mahismati Empire has even been revived by this update.
For more information on the third installment of the Baahubali series, fans will have to wait. Fans can anticipate the Rebel Star reprising his iconic role because the Baahubali franchise won’t be the same without Prabhas.
