Odisha's temperatures are predicted to increase starting in the first week of February, which is when summer officially begins. The state's temperature could rise by five degrees Celsius over the next few days, according to the Regional Meteorological Department in Bhubaneswar.

The minimum temperatures during the day and at night are currently 3–4 degrees higher than usual.
The temperature is expected to continue to rise over the next five days, according to the Meteorological Department. The temperature is predicted to rise by 3–4 degrees above average in the majority of the state's districts. Odisha's inland regions are probably going to be more impacted than its coastal ones. However, it is also anticipated that the nighttime temperatures along the coastal regions will rise unexpectedly.

Any Chance of Rainfall in Odisha?

The temperature is expected to remain on the upward scale due to no possibility of rain for another week. However, the department has warned that dense fog is likely to affect the state in the next 2-3 days.

Yellow alert has been issued due to dense fog over the next 24 hours for 10 districts of Odisha- Koraput, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Nayagarh, Khordha, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack and Keonjhar.

The dense fog is expected to affect visibility in some areas, with visibility dropping to as low as 50 meters in certain places. The Met department has also predicted zero visibility in some locations and issued an alert for those areas. The impact of the fog is expected to persist in the state till February 2.
