Ahead of Sunday's India-England cricket match, officials said that security would be stepped up in and around the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha.
For the second one-day international match, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) will also carry out beautification, sanitation, and fogging operations around the stadium, they announced.
On Tuesday, a high-level meeting was held here to discuss match preparations.
To finalize the arrangements, representatives from the district administration, the Odisha Olympic Association, the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA), the police and health departments, and the CMC attended the meeting.
According to Cuttack Deputy Commissioner of Police Jagmohan Meena, "four designated gates will regulate people's entry and exit, with personnel stationed to manage security and sanitation."
On match day, food safety officers will keep an eye on stall hygiene standards, and the district health department will send out ambulances and medical teams for emergency response.
According to the officials, special bus services will run from Trishulia, the railway station, and Cuttack's Netaji Bus Terminus to facilitate spectator movement.
