Garib, Youth, Annadata, and Nari are the main priorities of the Union Budget 2025: FM Sitharaman Nirmala

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2025 on February 1 in the Lok Sabha.  This was her eighth consecutive Budget presentation in Parliament and her second full-fledged budget of the Narendra Modi-led NDA government formed in 2024 i.e. Modi 3.0.

Prior to her Budget speech in the Parliament, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman called on President Droupadi Murmu. While presenting the Budget 2025,Finance Minister said that our economy is the fastest-growing among all major global economies. Our development track record of the past 10 years and structural reforms have drawn global attention. Confidence in India’s capability and potential has only grown in this period. We see the next five years as a unique opportunity to realize ‘Sabka Vikas’, stimulating balanced growth of all regions.

According to Nirmala Sitharaman, the Budget 2025 spans ten broad areas focusing on Garib, Youth, Annadata and Nari. taking everyone together, Make in India, supporting MSME, investing in people, and economy, promoting exports, and nurturing innovation.
