However, recently during the promotions of Citadel: Honey Bunny - Samantha’s OTT release with Varun Dhawan, the Kushi actress subtly gave a hint of an issue that might have bothered her during her marriage with the Laal Singh Chaddha actor.

During the recent promotion for Citadel: Honey Bunny in which Samantha and Varun play the role of spies, the actress was asked whether she ever tried to become a spy. The Family Man 2 actress replied, “Never tried. Do not have those traits. To be a spy in the show ya. In real life no.”

“I wish I had thinking back I think I should have,” added Samantha. It indicates that there is an incident in her life during which she must have felt that she should have checked and spied a bit and got to the bottom of the truth before it hit her hard. Fans have reacted by saying that the Tollywood actress is indirectly referring to Naga Chaitanya who one point in their marriage might have cheated on her and that can be the triggering point of their divorce.

On the personal front, while Naga Chaitanya is now married to Sobhita Dhulipala, rumours are strong that Samantha Ruth Prabhu is dating Raj Nidimoru of the famous Raj & DK director duo.
