At least 29 Odisha Administrative Services (OAS) (Superior Administrative Grade) officers were elevated to the position of OAS (Special Secretary) by the Odisha government on Friday.
 

“Pending finalisation of the selection list on the advice of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), the following OAS (Superior Administrative Grade) officers are promoted to the rank of OAS (Special Secretary) on ad hoc basis, in Level-17 of the ‘Pay Matrix’ as specified in the First Schedule of the O.R.S.P. Rules, 2017, for a period not exceeding one year or till receipt of recommendation of OPSC or till their retirement, whichever is earlier, without prejudice to the claim of others,” a notification issued in this regard by the General Administration & Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department mentioned.

•    Jyotirmayee Pradhan, presently Additional Secretary to Government, Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department.

•    Madhumita Nayak, presently Additional Secretary to Government, Labour & ESI Department with additional charge of Director, ESI, Bhubaneswar.

•    Kahnu Charan Dhir, presently Private Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister Women and Child Development, Mission Shakti, Tourism.

•    Harish Chandra Nayak, presently Additional Director of Inquiry, Office of the Lokayukta, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

•    Ambar Kumar Kar, Additional Secretary to Government, Excise Department with additional charge of the Managing Director, Odisha State Beverages Corporation Limited (OSBCL), Bhubaneswar.

•    Babita Mohanty, presently Additional Secretary to Government, Rural Development Department.

•    Prasanta Kishore Mohapatra, presently Additional Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department.

•    Sibo Narayan Sahu, presently Additional Director, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Bhubaneswar.

•    Anuj Kumar Das Pattanaik, presently Additional Secretary to Government, Women & Child Development Department UoT as State Nodal Officer, PM Poshan and MM Poshan.

Jamiruddin, presently Additional Secretary to Government, Revenue & DM Department UoT as Additional Secretary to Government, ST & SC Development, Minority & Backward Classes Welfare Department, with additional charge of the CEO, Odisha Waqf Board and Executive Officer, State Haj Committee.

•    Surendra Kumar Panda, presently Additional Secretary to Government, Health & Family Welfare Department.

•    Rajashree Singh, presently Additional Secretary to Government, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department.

•    Subhra Mohanty, presently Additional Secretary to Government, Co-operation Department.

•    Manoj Kumar Padhy, presently Additional Secretary to Government, School & Mass Education Department with additional charge of Director, TE & SCERT-Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

•    Sanghamitra Satapathy, presently Additional Secretary to Government, Rural Development Department.

•    Agasti Pradhan, presently Additional Commissioner, Settlement and Consolidation, Office of RDC (Southern Division), Berhampur.

•    Birasen Pradhan, presently Additional Commissioner, Settlement and Consolidation, Office of RDC (Southern Division), Berhampur.

•    Mirdha Topo, presently Project Director, District Urban Development Agency (DUDA), Keonjhar.

•    Ghasiram Murmu, presently Additional Secretary to Government, GA&PG Department.

•    Sudhakar Sabaro, presently General Manager, OSCSC Ltd., Bhubaneswar.

•    Asit Kumar Panda, presently Additional Commissioner, Settlement and Consolidation, Office of RDC (Central Division), Cuttack.

•    Sukanta Kumar Behera, presently Additional Director (Admin.) in the Office of the Engineer-in-Chief (EIC), Public Health-Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

Notably, 28 OAS officers were promoted and allowed to continue as such. However, Jyoti Ranjan Mishra has been promoted and transferred as Special Secretary to Government, Industries Department.
