80,000 more senior citizens will now be covered by the Delhi government's announced expansion of its old-age pension plan. This action will increase the total number of beneficiaries to 5.3 lakh. This announcement was made on Monday by AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, who emphasized the government's initiatives to provide financial assistance to senior citizens.
In response to allegations that the BJP had suspended pensions while he was imprisoned, Kejriwal declared, "It is a sin to stop the pensions of old people." He gave the public the assurance that his administration had reinstated these payments.
