Although current users can still log in without any problems, Chinese AI startup DeepSeek announced on Tuesday that it would temporarily restrict user registrations due to widespread malicious attacks on its services.

"We are temporarily limiting registrations to ensure continued service due to large-scale malicious attacks on DeepSeek's services," stated a warning banner on its website.
