The Odisha government is making every effort to welcome Indians who do not reside in the state with a number of carefully planned events and programs in honor of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas. The rich art, culture, and traditions of Odisha are intended to be promoted and showcased through these initiatives.
The massive event will start in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday and run through January 10.
A five-day flower show at Ekamra Park is expected to enthrall guests with its breathtaking display of flowers. The event's centerpiece is the Cactus House, which is expected to draw a lot of non-resident Indians (NRIs). In the meantime, Bhubaneswar's Park Festival has begun, showcasing captivating laser shows and music fountains in several parks. By presenting the state's customs and celebrating Odisha's artistic legacy, these events offer a special opportunity to inform and involve the visiting NRIs.
The Odisha State Museum has extended its hours of operation until 9 PM in order to better showcase the state's customs and culture. The Odisha Ivory Gallery, Zoology, Geology and Mining, Odisha Tribal, and Handloom galleries are among the nine new galleries that Chief Minister Mohan Majhi opened. Visitors are given a more immersive experience and a greater understanding of the state's rich cultural legacy thanks to these additions.
The Chief Minister has also introduced an e-bus service, which consists of 25 buses run by the Puri Srimandir administration, 10 hop-on-hop-off buses, and 5 double-decker buses, to guarantee smooth transportation for attendees.
