In a terrible road accident in Jharkhand, three schoolchildren were among the four people killed and eight injured.

A terrible road accident near Tirla Chowk in the Gola police station area of Jharkhand's Ramgarh district on Wednesday morning claimed the lives of at least four people, including three schoolchildren, and injured eight more.

The Goodwill Mission School students were riding in an autorickshaw when a truck carrying potatoes overturned and fell on them.

The kids, who ranged in age from five to eight, were buried beneath the truck. Three children and the driver of the car perished instantly, despite the efforts of onlookers who raced to the scene to save them.

The injured received immediate medical attention at a nearby hospital. To control the situation and look into the incident, police and administrative representatives have arrived on the scene.
Locals and distraught family members gathered at the scene of the accident to lament the deaths of young people. The locals set up a roadblock, which caused a protracted traffic bottleneck.

Mamta Devi, a Ramgarh MLA, also went to the location to speak to the families' worries.

A severe cold wave had prompted the state government to order all schools, both public and private, to stay closed until January 13. Goodwill Mission School, however, disregarded this order and continued to operate.

Parents and locals are blaming the school administration for the tragedy.
On-site administrative representatives promised that the school would face the proper consequences for breaking the government directive.

Following the collision, the truck driver ran away, and authorities are pursuing him in a manhunt.

The community has been shaken by this tragic event, and calls have been made for government regulations and safety measures to be strictly enforced in order to avoid similar accidents in the future.
