Today marks the start of the Council of Higher Secondary Education's (CHSE) annual Plus 2 exams throughout the state. Students in the Science stream will take the Odia (MIL) paper on the first day.

Students in the Arts and Commerce streams will start taking their exams tomorrow.

According to sources, a total of 3,93,618 students will appear for the exams in 1,276 centers across Odisha. While 2,47,391 students are from Arts stream, 1,14,980 are from Science, 25,526 are from Commerce, and 5,721 are from Vocational Education.

The exams will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and will continue until March 27 across 22 sittings.

The council aims to declare the results within 45 days of the exam’s completion. Authorities have also warned of strict action against anyone found involved in question paper leaks or spreading rumors.

While there is no change in the syllabus, the exam pattern has been modified, focusing more on objective-type questions instead of subjective ones.
