Trump nominated Indian-American Kash Patel to lead the FBI.

Kash Patel has been named the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) by US President-elect Donald Trump.

"I am pleased to declare that Kashyap "Kash" Patel will take over as the Federal Bureau of Investigation's next director. "Kash is an exceptional attorney, investigator, and "America First" warrior who has dedicated his professional life to uncovering wrongdoing, upholding the rule of law, and safeguarding the American people," Trump wrote in a post on his social media account, Truth Social.
As an advocate for truth, accountability, and the Constitution, he was instrumental in exposing the Russia, Russia Hoax. During my First Term, Kash performed admirably as the Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council, the Deputy Director of National Intelligence, and the Chief of Staff at the Department of Defense. Additionally, Kash has tried more than 60 jury trials. This FBI will eradicate the migrant criminal gangs, curb the evil scourge of drug and human trafficking across the border, and put an end to America's escalating crime epidemic. Trump declared, "Kash will work under our great Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to restore integrity, bravery, and fidelity to the FBI."
