Step-by-Step Guide: How to Change Your Voter ID Card Address After Marriage.

An Indian citizen needs to have a voter ID card in order to cast a ballot. After marriage, a woman’s address typically changes. The voter ID card’s address has to be changed. This is a basic, step-by-step tutorial.

Form 8 must be completed by a married lady who moved after getting married.

Additional paperwork that you’ll need include utility bills, your current passbook, records of your land ownership, and scanned copies of your new address.

Go to the NVSP website and fill out the registration form using your email address, mobile number, captcha, and OTP.

After creating your account, enter your phone number and password to log in.

Choose the ‘Fill Form 8’ option after clicking on the ‘Shifting of residence/correction of entries in existing electoral roll’ page.

Select ‘Self’ and press the submit button to see your EPIC number.

Examine your voter information, then choose the “Shifting of Residence” option, specifying whether your new address is inside or outside of the Assembly Constituency.

Fill out Form 8 with all required information, such as state, district, assembly or parliamentary constituency, Aadhaar number, new address, email, and mobile number.

After declaring the details, entering the captcha code, and uploading the necessary address proof document, click “Preview and Submit.”

After filling out Form 8, review it and send it in. A reference number will be provided to you, which you can use to follow the progress of your submitted application.

You can get a digital copy of the voter ID card from the NVSP website after a week or two.
