The Odisha T20 Cricket League is set to take place in 2024, according to the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA). The Odisha Cricket League will take place at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack from June 30 to July 17, 2024.
The T20 Cricket League will feature six teams: the Odisha Lions, O
disha Tigers, Odisha Jaguars, Odisha Pumas, Odisha Panthers, and Odisha Cheetahs. According to OCA Secretary Sanjay Behera, it will serve as a platform for emerging players to gain exposure.
Senior OCA officials have stated that the competition will follow a double-leg league format with 10 league matches for each team, followed by the Semi Finals and Finals. The tournament will feature 33 matches in total.
Each match’s player of the match will receive a reward of Rs. 5,000, and the series winner will receive Rs. 30,000 in prize money.
The top two players, Best Batsman and Best Bowler, will receive prizes of Rs. 20,000 each.
The top run scorer and wicket-taker will receive red and green caps, respectively.
During OCL-2024, the impact player rule will be in effect.
During OCL-2024, the Decision Review System (DRS) will be used.
