The son of a security guard working at a school in Odisha has successfully cleared the UPSC exams and has become an IAS officer.

He never allowed hardship to stand in the way of his achievement, and now that he has passed the UPSC CSE and become an IAS officer, he has made his security guard father proud. While his father is employed in Bhadrak, Odisha, as a security guard at a school, his son Atul Singh has accomplished the unthinkable.

Atul Singh has achieved an excellent AIR-67 to become an IAS officer by hard work and commitment. Today, Pawan Kumar Singh, a proud father who moved to Odisha from Bihar and worked nonstop as a security guard to ensure his sons received a top-notch education, is overjoyed with his son’s accomplishment.

“This is the result of his hard work,” he added, beaming with pride and tears in his eyes. “My son would study for 12–14 hours every day.” Nothing is more priceless than a parent celebrating his child’s success with joyous tears.

He will now be referred to be the father of an IAS officer, which makes him a proud parent right now. “I’m overjoyed, but I won’t claim credit for it. All due to my wife, who puts in a lot of work, handles all home tasks, assists the sons, and motivates them to work hard in their studies,” he continued.

In order to provide his two sons a better education, Pawan and his wife moved to Bhadrak, Odisha, where the former worked as a security guard. Atul, his son, excelled academically from the start. He used to put in a lot of labor. He attended Kanpur National Institute of Technology and worked at Reliance after graduating. Afterwards, he embarked for his UPSC adventure,” stated Pawan’s associate.

“After observing his father’s joy and pride, I’m content. For those who believe that the son or daughter of an educated man alone will become an IAS, this should serve as motivation. Therefore, I implore all parents to steer their kids in the correct path from the start and refrain from giving them too much independence at an early age,” stated the principal of the school where Pawan serves as a security guard.
