In his greetings on the occasion of Ram Navami on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated, “Ayodhya is in immense joy” and that the city was commemorating Lord Ram’s birth anniversary following the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
On January 22, following the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple, Ayodhya is celebrating its first Ram Navami.
“The first Ram Navami after the Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya is a generational milestone, weaving together centuries of devotion with a new era of hope and progress,” stated Prime Minister Modi in a post on X. For this day, crores of Indians have been waiting. Many people gave their lives in service of this holy cause.”
