“The third term’s roadmap is centred on a decisive fight against poverty over the next five years,” says Prime Minister Modi.

In an attempt to lay out a plan for his administration during the NDA’s third term, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Wednesday that the “fight against poverty” will be the main priority for the next five years.

In response to the Motion of President’s Address in the Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Modi bemoaned the fact that, even after decades of independence, some segments of society continued to lack access to basic utilities and outlined the efforts his administration was making to integrate them into society.

“In the next five years, there will be a determined and decisive fight to improve the lives of the poor and oppressed and to raise their standards of living,” Prime Minister Modi declared.

He continued by saying that fundamental assistance programmes for the disadvantaged neighbourhoods will reach saturation throughout the next five years.

PM Modi emphasised his conviction that development to date has been a “trailer,” and that the true progress was still to come. “The work of the past 10 years is just an appetiser, the main course is yet to begin,” he stated.

According to him, his government is giving those who were disregarded and left out for decades after Independence the attention they deserve.

“Our government is striving to provide Divyangs with a simpler, easier life and the means to live a life of dignity and respect.” Our government has created legislation specifically for the transgender community and worked to integrate them into society. The Upper House heard Prime Minister Modi say, “They are part of the Padma awards.”

The prime minister declared, “They are not only acknowledged, but also worshipped in our government.”

“Under the PM SVAnidhi scheme, street vendors and hawkers have been connected with the banking system while a momentous 13,000 crore project was launched for the Vishwakarma Samaj to empower them with skills,” Prime Minister Modi stated, emphasising his government’s priority on strengthening the marginalised class.

Additionally, he stated that Tier II and Tier III cities will be essential to the country’s development and expansion.
