The appointment of Srimandir’s permanent administrator is imminent. The process in this regard has reportedly been initiated by the recently formed BJP government.
Prithiviraj Harichandan, the law minister for Odisha, announced on Sunday that the newly formed government’s first 100-day agenda will prioritise the appointment of a full-time administrator for Srimandir.
Though there haven’t been any issues with Srimandir’s management recently, Harichandan claims that the government will soon make a definitive decision regarding the appointment of a permanent administrator because it has become necessary.
“Even though there haven’t been any issues with Srimandir’s management recently, the honourable court has ordered the hiring of a full-time administrator. At all costs, we must designate a full-time administrator for Srimandir. It is necessary to follow all Srimandir procedures, including darshan and all rituals, and to maintain appropriate control over them. We’ve already begun talking about it,” Harichandan remarked.
