Prime Minister Modi has taken a close look at the Kuwait fire tragedy and has decided to provide Rs 2 lakh as ex-gratia for the Indian victims.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reviewed the Kuwait fire incident, which resulted in the deaths of several Indian nationals and injuries. He announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs 2 lakh to the families of the deceased from the PM Relief Fund.

Modi expressed his condolences and directed the government to extend all possible assistance. He called for the Ministry of External Affairs to immediately travel to Kuwait to oversee the relief measures and facilitate the repatriation of the mortal remains.

The meeting was attended by senior officials including External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Minister of State Kirtivardhan Singh, and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
