Odisha schools have been declared closed for Puja.

For the approaching Durga Puja, the Odisha government on Friday declared a Puja break for the state’s educational institutions. With two Sundays in between, the vacations will begin on October 20 and go through October 29.

From October 20 through October 29, schools will be closed.

On Friday, notices in this respect were released by the Directorates of Secondary Education and Elementary Education. The district’s whole staff of education officers has been notified for clarification and any required action.

Due to Mahalaya, October 14 has also been declared a holiday.
