Narendra Modi, the prime minister, arrives in Bhubaneswar

After wrapping up his road tour in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi touched down in Bhubaneswar on Sunday night in a special plane, amid heavy security. The leaders and workers of the party gave him a warm welcome.

He was greeted by a sizable group of partygoers who were waiting outside the airport.

In attendance were Odisha in-charge Vijay Singh Tomar, Odisha BJP president Manmohan Samal, Union Minister Jaishankar, BJP National Vice President Baijayant Panda, and the party’s MP candidate for the Bhubaneswar Lok Saba seat, Aparajita Sarangi.

The Prime Minister announced his visit to Odisha on his X handle as soon as he arrived in Bhubaneswar. “Arrived in Bhubaneswar to a hospitable reception following programmes in Uttar Pradesh. Odisha is clearly prepared to vote for the BJP at both the state and federal levels. His post read, “People want a government that can protect the vibrant local culture while also developing Odisha.

Following the party workers’ welcome, he was seen waving to the crowd from his carcade as it made its way to the Raj Bhawan.

He will travel to Berhampur and Nabarangpur on Monday to speak at public gatherings during the height of the state’s electioneering for the 2024 elections, following an overnight stay at Raj Bhawan in Bhubaneswar.

Aparajita Sarangi, a BJP leader, stated: “The Prime Minister inquired about Odisha shortly after his arrival. The Central BJP’s focus has been on Odisha. I’m glad he’ll be doing a roadshow in Vani Vihar on his next visit from Master Canteen. Odisha will have a government with two engines.

Beginning on May 10, the Prime Minister will return to Odisha for a two-day visit. On the first day of his visit, the Prime Minister will conduct a roadshow in Bhubaneswar. On May 11, he will speak at a public gathering in Bolangir.

In addition to educating the public about the central government’s pro-people initiatives, he will actively support the candidates of his party in the race. His visit had inspired the BJP’s Odisha unit’s rank and file.

Berhmapur party workers are reportedly excited to hear from him because they consider his visit to Ganjam to be very significant. It is anticipated that his presence will improve the party workers’ spirits.
