The people will have elected representatives thanks to the upcoming J&K Assembly elections and the restoration of statehood, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement on Friday.
PM Modi vigorously supported BJP candidates Dr. Jitendra Singh and Jugal Kishore Sharma, who are running for Lok Sabha from the Kathua-Udhampur and Jammu-Reasi constituencies, respectively, during an enormous election rally in Udhampur.
According to PM Modi, J&K will soon hold assembly elections and regain its statehood, allowing the people to choose their own ministers and representatives.
Claiming that the Congress, National Conference, Peoples Democratic Party, and other similar parties are dynastic parties that have caused a great deal of damage to J&K in the past, he harshly criticised them.
“They govern the family, for the family, and by the family,” according to their political tenets. They wish to take J&K back to those gloomy, earlier days. These parties created a demon to maintain their hold on the populace, claiming that J&K would burn and secede from the nation if Article 370 was lifted. Nobody from the outside could see inside Article 370, and no one inside could see outside thanks to the enormous wall they had built. Modi has destroyed that wall and buried the remnants of Article 370 deep beneath the earth with your blessings.”
