Girls outnumber boys in the 2024 ICSE ISC results, with Odisha setting a record with a pass percentage of over 99 in class 10.

Results for the class 10 and 12 board exams 2024 were released on Monday by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations.

Official reports state that female students performed better than male students in the class 10 (ICSE) and class 12 (ISC) exams. Girls pass the class 10 exam with a pass percentage of 99.65%, while boys pass with a pass percentage of 99.31%. In class 12, 95.96% of the boys and 98.01% of the girls passed. In the ISC, the pass rate is 98.19% (98,088 passed), whereas in the ICSE, it is 99.47% (2,42,328 passed).

In class 10 (ICSE), girls have done better than boys registering a pass percentage of 99.34%. Boys have achieved a pass percentage of 98.86%.

In class 12 (ISC) as well, girls have outshined the boys with a pass percentage of 98.95%. The pass percentage of boys is 98.85%.
