After concluding his last public speech in the Nabarangpur district of Odisha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence that the BJP will win the state. Inspired by the fervour exhibited by party members and residents of Koraput and Kalahandi districts, Modi declared that this fervour amply indicates the BJD’s departure from the state, thereby clearing the path for the BJP to form a double-engine government in the state for the first time.
Odisha Will Elect First BJP Chief Minister: PM Modi
In a subdued jab at the BJD, Prime Minister Modi declared that the people of Odisha will elect their first BJP chief minister, who will be an indigenous of the state and not a foreigner.
“The BJP’s chief minister will be chosen by someone who values Odisha’s soil and culture, is aware of the issues and their solutions, and is well-liked by the populace. Modi Ki Guarantee is this. In order to give Odisha new life and new leadership, I pray to the people to bless the BJP and help it win all 21 Lok Sabha seats as well as a sizable number of Assembly seats in the state’s upcoming elections,” Prime Minister Modi said.
PM Modi urged everyone to keep in mind the dates, stating that the BJD government will end on June 4 and that he has come to invite everyone to the BJP’s chief minister’s swearing-in ceremony in Bhubaneswar.
“I am convinced that individuals will accept Modi’s invitation and won’t turn it down like those who rejected the Ram Mandir’s offer,” he declared.
