Following the receipt of an email containing a bomb threat that threatened to blow up the airport, Jaipur International Airport saw chaos on Sunday.
However, after a thorough search operation at the airport by the CISF, nothing substantial was discovered.
“A bomb has been planted in the building; save the lives of innocent people,” the email stated.
As the vigilance team attempted to contact the email’s sender, security guards, police, bomb disposal experts, and dog squads searched the airport extensively in the wake of the threat alert.
IANS was informed by SHO (Airport) Motilal Sharma that a threatening email was received on Sunday at approximately 3:15 p.m. on the official CISF email account.
“After learning of a bomb at the airport, security agencies were notified. The search was initiated by the police and airport security staff. The entire airport complex and its environs were examined by the bomb disposal squad and the dog squad. According to SHO Sharma, nothing suspicious has been discovered on airport property as of yet.
According to him, the inquiry teams are attempting to identify the mail’s original source. “We have opened a case and are conducting a comprehensive investigation,” he stated.
