The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhubaneswar was treating Ananta Kishore Behera, the Principal Accountant General (Accounts and Entitlement), when he passed away on Saturday night. He was 52. Behera was afflicted by conditions of the lungs.
Behera, who was up in Mahanga in the Cuttack district, has served in a variety of roles for the Indian Audit and Accounts Service both at home and overseas. Upon learning the news, a number of well-known individuals expressed their sorrow and thanked Behera for his service.
