Russia terror attack: 115 people have died.

The Russian Investigative Committee reports that the death toll from the terrorist attack at Moscow’s Crocus City Hall has risen to 115 people.

The committee stated that more deaths are anticipated, as CNN reported.

Governor Andrey Vorobyov of the Moscow region announced that the injured would receive $10,840 and the relatives of the deceased would receive $32,500.

According to Russian state media, Russian President Vladimir Putin was informed by Russian Security Service (FSB) director Alexander Bortnikov that 11 individuals had been arrested in relation to the attack on the Crocus complex near Moscow on Friday.

President Putin dismissed the US’s warning about a potential terror attack, calling it “provocative”.

Among those in custody are the four terrorists who were directly responsible for the attack, according to TASS.

Additionally, the attackers reportedly had “contacts on the Ukrainian side,” according to state-run Russian news agency TASS.

As more bodies were discovered, emergency services were removing debris from the terrorist attack site, which is Moscow Oblast’s Crocus City Hall, according to the committee.

The committee claimed that after a preliminary inspection, the terrorists used automatic weapons and ammunition that they had brought from outside the concert hall.

The committee also mentioned that fingerprint, genetic, and ballistic analyses are being done.

According to the statement, it has also been proven that the terrorists started the fire on the property using flammable liquid.

The committee reported that four suspects were held close to the Ukrainian border in the Bryansk area.

Just as a famous rock band named Piknik was about to start a concert at the mall’s music venue, an attack occurred around 8 p.m. (local time) on Friday, causing chaos, according to RT.

The attackers targeted concertgoers who were running, and footage from the scene showed bodies lying around like trash.

In addition, the attackers are said to have used incendiaries and hand grenades to set the building on fire.

According to local media, the number is anticipated to rise due to the severity of the attack and the large fire that caused the building’s roof to collapse.

The terrorist attack has been denounced globally.

“We offer our heartfelt condolences and express our deepest sympathy to the families of the many victims,” said UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron.

“We strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack in Moscow,” said Prime Minister Narendra Modi in response to the terrorist attack. Our hearts and prayers are with the victims’ families. India is standing in solidarity during this time of grief with the Russian Federation’s government and people.

The attack has been denounced by the US, which called it a “terrible incident”.

According to Sri Lanka, which denounced the terror attack, “such acts of violence against civilians are abhorrent and have no place in civilised society.”

The statement said that the people and government of Sri Lanka send their deepest sympathies to the families of the victims, the people of Russia, and the Russian government during this time of sorrow.

According to the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, Pakistan denounced the “horrendous” attack that took place at a concert hall in Moscow.

In a statement released late at night, the ministry said, “We express our deepest sympathies with the families of the victims.”

The shooting was referred to as a “terrorist attack” by Russia’s Foreign Ministry, which also urged international condemnation.
