Dengue cases in Odisha have doubled since the monsoon season began compared to the previous year. With 16 new cases reported on the same day, there were 288 dengue positive cases in Odisha as of Thursday.
Only the Khordha district has reported 80 dengue-positive cases out of the 288 total cases. According to sources, urban areas are where dengue cases are most frequently reported, so Cuttack and Bhubaneswar are receiving extra attention.
