The NIA has announced a reward of Rs 10 Lakh for Moosewala’s murder of Goldy Brar’s mastermind.

The designated terrorist Goldy Brar, a major suspect in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and an affiliate of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, and another gangster wanted for extortion and firing at a businessman’s Chandigarh home were each given a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday.

The organisation promised to keep the identity of the source of information that led to the capture or arrest of either of them a secret.

The two defendants are sought in connection with an extortion attempt on March 8 that resulted in firing at a businessman’s residence. The case has been filed against accused Satwinder Singh, alias Satinderjit Singh, alias Goldy Brar, of Muktsar Sahib town, and accused Gurpreet Singh, alias Goldy Dhillon, alias Goldy Rajpura, of Rajpura town, both in Punjab, under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, and the Arms Act.

Goldy Brar is currently listed as one of Canada’s top 25 most wanted fugitives.
