The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) branch in Rajnagar greeted Baijayant Panda, the National Vice President of the party, as the nominee for the Kendrapara Lok Sabha seat for the second time in a row.
Hundreds of BJP workers staged a protest on Monday to express their satisfaction with the party’s decision to offer him a ticket for a second term. The rally went through the Rajnagar market after beginning at Trinath Bazaar. At the rally were not only BJP leaders and workers but also locals.
“Those from Rajnagar have supported the BJP. Baijayant Panda, our National Vice President and the leader of our area, has been granted a second chance to run for the Lok Sabha seat from Kendrapara. We extend a warm welcome to him on Kendrapara land. We organised a sizable rally for him today. Gyana Behura, the BJP state spokesperson, stated, “We want to make it clear that his victory on Kendrapara soil is certain this time.”
